An idea or two for consideration (I have teaching commitments so cannot implement):
set up an organisation to work to release urban brownfield sites and left over land for use as allotment land for urban people to grow vegetables with incentives and rewards for land owners including local government, and to give urban people holiday (including people between or without jobs) volunteer placements on British farms to learn about farming and animals and contribute, and to faciliate day visits from urban schools to farms to learn about farming, animals and the food supply situation; film developments over a year and publish for a wider audience.
